I do use a virtual office and would recommend allday pa for anybody looking for an address. My reason for using a virtual office was purely for that fact that I don't want or need a serviced office. Im happy working from home. But I don't want to use my home address on my website or stationary for obvious reasons. Perfect solution.

It depends on certain things. I have also heard of virtual assistants who make just under 1k a month and have quite a setup, and from a consultant who gets VA's started for practically nothing, if they join his marketing network of VA's for real estate transactions. So it can be a simple business to operate and sometimes remotely.  I myself have networked with some and it is paying off handsomely and do recommend those who want to network with job opportunity.

Even if I have enough money for a physical office, I will still choose to establish my business using a Virtual Office. A lot of authority sites and online businesses thrive in this kind of work setting. One good example would be Automattic - the owners of Wordpress.

Whatever your industry, a virtual office can help your business to maintain a professional image and flourish.

More and more companies are signing up for this type of service and are happy with the outcome.

Take Anna Hemmings, Olympian MBE, for example. Here, she speaks about how voxclever's Virtual Office service has provided the telecoms solution to support the growth of her training and coaching business, Beyond the Barriers.

"voxclever’s national network of business centres and meeting rooms has been absolutely invaluable to us. They are available up and down the country in prestigious and convenient locations for transport links and that’s absolutely essential for us and our clients.”

I don't see any problem at all with having a virtual office, PO Box, and 1-800 number so weirdos can't track you down and stalk you.

That said, I definitely believe that business owners should 'own' their business.  Take pride.  Use your real picture and real name just like you would if you were doing business in a brick and mortar business.

Cheers-

Rick

Hello everyone!

Virtual office is the trend these days. Even in my field, real estate, many brokers/agents/investors are setting up this kind of office.

So if it works for you and your clients, why not, right?

Looking forward to more discussions in the future.

Having a virtual office is a good idea, my uncle is a broker and he recently set up a virtual office at the demand of his clients. He was a little skeptical about this because in his opinion nothing can replace a real office, point of purchase displays and having face to face conversation with your clients, but after trying this he liked a lot the concept.
