Hello people
i heard a lot about possibilities to work at home and make money.
i refer here to the typist stuffs that are online and they say they email the checks to you once the work is done. They also usually ask for money for a start up package ..
Do any of you know about them ??  Can you recommend any ?

I don`t want to burst your bubble, but most ads for "work at home" jobs are scams.  People that fall victim to these con games pay out more in startup fees than they ever make.  You can Google "scams or Work at home scams" and get thousands of hits on these phony job offers.

Having played around with "work at home" offerings lots of times at different points in my life, I`ve learned a single and basic lesson:

If it`s easy enough that someone can tell you how to start a work-at-home business, then it`s easy enough for you to go out and start it in your neighborhood without all the other advice.

If getting paid for typing is that easy to accomplish, then you should be seeing many opportunities in your own local area.

The problem is twofold. The first is that ANY work can be done by someone starting their own business, IF you can become visible to the people who want to pay for that work.

The second is that being "seen" by the particular people looking for your business is rarely explained in any of these so-called instruction courses.

If you could figure out how to quickly become visible with whatever you offer, you`d have the $1-million solution to life! :-) Since few people have that solution, the people writing these instruction manuals only describe what "could happen" IF you happen to figure out how to become visible.

A better idea is to visit your local college and either take a degree or audit some courses on marketing. Then apply what you learn to yourself.

The actual "online" businesses that I have found to be "real" are under the Virtual Administration posts and the best way that I have found thus far to access legitimate business is to type in at your search engine: "Employers hiring Virtual Assistants".  If someone knows of a better access, please share your thoughts and research.

I agree with Craig ... the hard part is becoming visible
