Microsoft has released (a little while ago) service pack 3 (SP3) to update Windows XP.

FYI - If you have a computer that uses an AMD chip, this update may likely cause your computer to crash - and not be able to open Windows.

I think there have been other reported problems too.

So - do not automatically download and install SP3 for Windows XP if you have a computer with an AMD chip.

Thanks Roland!  I, of course, have an AMD chip.  Thanks Microsoft.  Big help.
