I believe that there is a compromise for new small business owners when it comes to their website. If you're not a web designer or developer and you want to try and design your own fully-functional e-commerce website on your own you'll be spending more time educating yourself and struggling to get things accomplished on the web than it might be worth.

There are solutions available to small business owners that allow them to get hands on training for their website so that it's completed by a professional and the small business owner can handle all of the updates and management of the site themselves.

I recommend that as a new small business owner you find affordable, professional options for the projects that you need completed so that you can focus on getting your business created.

You can have your cake and eat it too ... just let someone else bake the cake and give you the recipe to make it again!
