Just wondering why there is no link or button to view new posts since my last visit or view active topics like on most forums? That way when someone visits the forum they can see all active topics and discussions happening across the entire forum and sub forums. Right now there is just an icon in front of the forums with new posts but it would be great to see all the active topics no matter which forum they are happening in. I would contribute and visit more because I could see a wide array of topics and Im sure others would too. Anyways, just a thought. Maybe there is one and I am missing it??

Peter — if you click the "community home" link under the "community" tab, it shows you a list of the most recently started threads. Not quite the same as what you`re looking for but it is more efficient than going through the forums one by one.

peter, paula and the rest of the merry SUN community,

we`re going to be launching a suite of new functionalities and features here at the site this summer and what peter is searching for is definitely something we`re integrating.

you`re a punny guy rich :)

looking forward to seeing the site upgrades, you guys always do a seamless job with those.

on a separate note, did you ever write/podcast about the journey from office to home office? I`m still very interested to know how you handled some of those issues, i.e., the server.

Rich

I am new to the forum and want to be very involved but I am finding it is hard to follow the conversations.  The "view new posts" shows the lastest post in each forum but if there are posts to more than one topic it only shows the last post.  I end up missing the other posts.  Is something in the works to expand the "view new posts" to show the forum and each thread with new posts since the last visit?

Are there any tips or tricks to keeping track of new posts that I am missing?

The forum is great.  Thanks for creating it.
