Since no one has complained about these two banner advertisers yet, unlike BuyDomains, LegalZoom, and others, just why are we saving the wolves? What about the polar bears? The planet? The Democrats?

Maybe if the Girl Scouts start donating cookie money to the wolves, I`ll be more inclined to support them both.

Or, my new favorite banner: Text: FTP to 83484 to Opt-In, from the AICPA.
Compelling ad, there, guys. Those accountants crack me up!

It`s not girl scouts, it`s a site promoting the empowerment for young women.
And I`m all for that.

But you`re right, there is a funny new crop of ads today.

I thought the Oxfam thing was a banner about Pig Latin.

Good to see Montel Williams promoting Paralyzed Veterans, though. I definately support that.

Can we get MoveOn.org on here? Might cut down on the whole paralyzed veterans thing.

I saved the whales and got the whole set. Now I`m about done with the wolves. I`m just missing one or two and I`ll have that whole set too. I didn`t know the Girl Scouts were at risk?

What banner are we talking about?

I`m not sure the Girl Scouts are nearing extinction or anything, but my web browser doesn`t accept cookies anyway... There`s a great joke about getting kicked out of the boy scouts for eating the - never mind. This is a family audience.

I once made a mistake and confused two causes. I ended up making a huge contribution which resulted in nuking the whales. I still feel bad about that one.

Yes. Originally, it was of course Al Gore, but with his hands full on this internet invention and all, I took the lead.

Actually, I just totaled my car and am buying a Vespa scooter next week. With my cigar habit, I just felt a need to cut back on my personal carbon output.
