Joel’s uplifting attitude made me eager to get working. Without him, I don’t even want to show up for work. Maybe it’s his carefree demeanor which makes him seem as though he is not working. When, in the end, as we all have seen, he is always on deadline, or within a couple hours. I can’t get that type of service from my auto mechanic.

Joel… You are missed. I can only hope your ceremony is enjoyable. Then, get your butt back here… You are missing greatly.

OK, here`s an update for you. last night was joel`s rehearsal dinner and YOU WERE REPRESENTED WELL!!! i read many of your comments to great uproars of laughter, outbursts of applause, and ear to ear smiles from joel and susanne.

it was a glorious evening, happy people, brilliantly sunny, the air skin temperature, and the cabernet flowing...

Wow! This is realy cool.

OK, now you get to hear the REST of the story ...

At the rehearsal dinner, Suzanne was sitting next to Rich ("I want to sit next to Richard!") and the priest was to my right. At some point during the whitefish with mushroom sauce (which wasn`t supposed to be there - the mushroom sauce that is) Rich, with a devilish grin that wouldn`t go away, leaned over both Suzanne & I and engaged the padre in a public speaking strategy conversation.

I say conversation because while Rich framed it as a question to the Father and appeared to be looking for his advice on the matter ... ("As a man who is in the profession of speaking in front of live audiences, I would like your counsel ..." or something like that.) ... he totally ignored the priest`s advice of keeping it "short and to the point!"

You see, Rich had 2 full pages of your posts that he absolutely HAD to read. So, while the priest left the room, Rich shared your words.

It was awesome. And yes, when he was finished I stood up & uttered the only public words I spoke during the entire weekend other than my wedding vows ...

"That was Sensational!"

The older I get. The more emotional I become. It`s moments like that which you will cherish in your old age. (if you don`t already). Actually, I have also noticed, as I get older, I loose some of my "Greatest Moments" from memory... or at least they are harder to draw from on a moments notice. I have begun writing a few paragraphs to read when I am 90 years old (only a few more years to go.) I`m not saying you are forgetfull, but maybe you should do a little writing yourself. All in your perspective.

Awesome Joel. Just awesome.
