What I miss about Joel`s absense is....

the gregarious bursts of laughter and "SENSATIONSTUPENDOUSFRAGILISTIC" roars that explode from his office at random times throughout the day! 

Well, Brian, if you had stricter rules about drinking wine in the StartUp Nation world headquarters...

I miss seeing in my mailbox "I hope your day is sensational" periodically and `reading` just how excited he is to be marrying Suzanne.  I can`t help but believe that they are going to have a wonderful marriage - she`s such a lucky lady!

I just wish I could be there at the wedding to make sure all their vendors treat them like the royalty they are!  :)

the problem is when it`s poured into Mountain Dew 2 liters accompanied by a half a box of Altoids!

After you`re done talking with Joel, you just feel all enthusiastic. Sometimes, you don`t even know what you`re supposed to be enthusiastic about.
You`re just all revved up and ready to start the next Google.
Some people see the glass half-empty, Joel sees it overflowing.
If Joel was on the Titanic, I bet he`d go. "Boy, we gotta do some work on those double-hulled sailing crafts. But, I have NEVER swam in the North Atlantic. This is gonna be SENSATIONAL."

You know, I could actually see him saying something like that.

I wonder if he`s going to have the Tommyguns I suggested at the reception?  ;)  Since I`m guessing the top hat didn`t make the cut...

I can`t put a finger on it, but there is definitely something missing when he`s not on here. He really contributes to the senseless banter in Startup Bucks, and like you all said, his positive outlook and energy are so contagious. I also think it`s funny when he apologizes for something launching 8 hours past his goal. He has really high expectations for himself and aims to please. I bet the wedding will be beautiful!
