I am not getting a new iPhone from Apple because you can`t use it with just one hand.  I have a Blackberry Pearl and can easily drive with one hand, while using the other hand to type an e-mail, surf the Internet, and make a phone call.

Yes, all the new iPhone features are cool.  But when it comes to my safety, I don`t want to be using both hands to conduct my road-warrior errands.  The iPhone seems to make you use one hand to hold it while you slide your fingers across it and make it do stuff.  This doesn`t make it very easy to hide what you are doing during boring meetings or presenations.

Are you going to get an iPhone?  Why or why not?

If safety is a concern, should you really be using your Blackberry while driving?

I`m not getting an iPhone, but I hope everyone else does - we need more people keeping their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel!

I am going to seriously consider it.

I use a:

1) Treo for phoning, emailing, calendar-ing, texting, & webbing.
2) iPod Video CONSTANTLY for listening to & watching podcasts and my music
3) Razor mobile phone that houses the cell # I`ve had since forever

I`m thinking that an iPhone may give me the opp to go from carrying 3 devices around down to 2.

Plus, since I consider myself to be somewhat of a podcast junky, and we have a pretty serious audio & video content commitment going on here at SuN, it may be smart for me to understand what the possibilities are.

Joel, have you considered getting a CPU installed surgically directly into your head? I hear they can do that, now....?

Being that I`m a team player and rarely think of myself, I would like to selflessly volunteer to act as a SuN Beta tester and look forward to the new iPhone that SuN will be sending me to do my beta testing on!!!

No thanks is necessary because that`s just the kind of guy I am!!!

I use a Treo too, and I have looked at the IPhone too. I love my Treo because of the feature of using it with one hand. The IPhone is not a business oriented product due to its navigation. I guess because Windows have thought about everything.

I`m not planning to buy an iPhone until maybe the second or third generation.

But please, everyone else go out and buy one so that my AAPL stock will go up!
