Has anyone out there been to the Wholesale Markets in Atlanta or Dallas that both occur in January?  They are nearly back to back with Atlanta occurring January 12-16 and Dallas occurring a few days later January 19-22.  I am new to this and am trying to decide if I need to attend both or if it will essentially be a repeat with the same wholesalers attending both.

We are interested in particular in holiday decorations and have heard that the Atlanta market groups all the holiday wholesalers together at the show.  Does anyone know if Dallas does the same?  (Dallas specifically calls theirs the "Holiday and Home Expo" so I`m encouraged that the holiday fare will be good.)

You should be able to look up which vendors will be exhibiting
at both Markets. I attend the San Francisco Gift Fair twice a year
and the vendors are listed on the website.
They will also have a booth # listing so you will be able to see if
they are grouped together.
Hope this helsp
Cheers

I.P. - I would take the suggestion from Sarah one step further. After you research the gift show websites, call a number of them and do your own unscientific survey and ask questions. My experience is most folks love to talk about "their" business and "their" industry.

Be curious. Ask easy questions at first. Show them you are geniuely interested in them and their opinion and they will tell you a lot. Get it straight from the "pro" point of view.

Then make your decision.

Good luck and best wishes with your adventure!
