Inc. and Entrepreneur

Inc. has been my favorite for years, for years Entrepreneur was really just peddling franchises. They have gotten much better here lately.

Entrepreneur is definitely much better now. I love the access to all the online articles. Otherwise, I don`t have a lot of time to read magazines.

I devour biz mags, especially since I travel so much and have downtime in the airports.  I love Inc, Millionaire Blueprints, Money, and Fast Company

Entrepeneur every single issue.  As a matter of fact, the other day I took out my August "Entrepeneur(R) Magazine" and I was reading a fascinating article on page 102 entitled "Child`s Play" about small time entrepeneurs taking on the big dogs in the toy industry when low and behold I see the name Gwen Austin Yuffa! (Our very own RCToys!)

There is a great write up about her and they even used a quote from her to conclude the article. Way to go GWEN!!!!

Between Inc and Entrepreneur, I find Inc hugely more readable and absorbing.  It`s aesthetically lightyears beyond Entrepreneur and just a far more pleasant read.  They write in such a way that even items about which I`d usually have no interest, I read and often find interesting.  The opposite has been my experience with Entrepreneur.

I occasionally read Entrepreneur.  But, most of my focus is on trade magazines in the areas I work in.  This includes Inbound Logistics, Security Management, writing magazines and H/R magazines.

I tend to read the ones that are sent to me as freebies - Inc., Fast Company, and Fortune Small Business.  Somehow I`ve gotten on a list to receive about 20 different magazines at no cost.  It may be due to the fact I am on the Editorial Advisory Boards of two publications.
