Both are important but in separate fields, because if you are selling something through online market then it is more important to get heavy traffic on your website which in turn can increase your potential client and this is important for your organization.
 

In other hand if someone is buying a web based product as a website then PR can be determined as the main property of that website.

According to me, its depend on your website purpose. If you selling something product or you have one line business then traffic is important but page rank doesn’t matter.

In my opinion, they are equally important. You will get more traffic if you have high page rank and if you have more traffic your page rank will improve it is vice-versa. But if to select only 1 or to favor someone I will give more importance to traffic.

PR doesn't matter at all. PR doesn't bring in traffic and conversions, most consumers and end users don't even know what pagerank is. Google has even admitted that they don't update PR scores or even consider PR in the SERPS anymore. i've seen pr0 sites in position 1 and i've seen pr8 sites on the 4th page. 

traffic, qualified traffic specifically, is what matters. traffic is what brings conversion and therefore is what pays the bills. 

Pr value and the traffic are two different things, pr means page rank that is improve by the google when your website getting high traffic and traffic is a form when your website is too popular than your website’s traffic gets increase.

In my opinion traffic is more important than PR.  Traffic increase the sale of your product but PR not.

I agree traffic is more important but it depends on how you're getting that traffic. If its via Adwords or PPC then its good for short term. Page rank is good for long term but you have to keep at it to keep it up there. You must also keep up with the Google's changes that might change your PR.
