Keep in mind I`m NOT a techi - I need an easy Blogging site.  I had Blogger but...can you say boring templates? And when I tried to upload one (well many) from Pyzam, they didn`t work! And a tech person  couldn`t upload them either.

Wordpress is too tech for me.  tBlog doesn`t let me logged in and there`s no email or phone for help.

Is everyone just using boring templates now?

Wordpress is probably the most popular, and has a huge availability of free templates. I`m sure there are some guides online for non-tech people to learn how to get familiar with it.

Wordpress is by far the best, but I`ve always been a huge fan of Tumblr.com

Wordpess only wins because the SEO factor. Wordpress stuff gets ranked higher than any other platform.

If you want a pretty blog, you should just hire someone to customize it for you. Might cause $100 - $200, but no matter where you go, templates are going to be boring.

I switched from Blogger to Typepad about 3 years ago, and have been very happy with it. It`s easy to customize it and you don`t need to be a techie to make it look fabulous. It`s not free, but for me, easily worth the $8 a month.

After you get started, don`t forget to list your blog with all the blog directories out there!

Dependes on how much  you want to write and on how much design you need...if you just want to start a journal, try Posterous...here`s a post where I reviewed it...Posterous for Bloggers.

I actually like Typepad because it`s easy to use and get started quickly, without a lot of tech experience.  And, with prices starting as low as $4.95/month, how can you go wrong?  However, I`d advise starting with the $8.95/month package so that you can map your domain name to your Typepad blog.
