Hi all,

Lately, there have been a lot of threads on where to get graphics done for businesses.  I wrote a blog post about it a while back: http://blog.markiter.com/where-to-find-graphic-design. Having been heavily involved in technology and my company over the last couple years, perhaps people will find my experience of use. I'm always looking for new topics to write about, so send me a message if you have questions.

Thank you for mentioning these crowdsourcing sites. I like your idea that by doing the competition like call, I can get a look at various interpretation of what designers think of my business. That in particular, can be an eye opener, because sometimes I have a narrow view of what I communicate, and others interpretation broadens my view to aspects I miss.

That's a good way to get some really good web designers. Well, what about getting nothing out of the contest you did? To me, it is always better to hire someone to do the work for you and really give away the ideas you have on your own and pay them according to what's been agreed.
