As boomers, many of us have accumulated some cash along the way. In these days of uncertainty and low interest rate returns, where are you putting your cash?

I am not a boomer but I was a financial consultant for a year (read: mutual fund salesman).  I worked with a lot of boomer and I had to sell to them as well.  I honestly didn't meet many who had much money... In fact, it bothered me that most people didn't have the habit of managing money. 

Anyway, I saw a lot of people lose most of their money and most hasn't come back yet.  My parents as well. 

After seeing this, I don't put money into anything that I cannot control any more and don't understand.  I put money into online businesses, real estate and precious metals. 

Day care centers are a great investment.  No matter what life brings, people keep on having babies!

Couldn't help on the destroyer "strong against" query but someone will prob have a spreadsheet nicely aligned for us to "sail" thru.
