Here`s my problem,
A good friend of mine is a pretty famous painter in his own right. If you google him "A. Ric Druet" you will find all kinds of Military Airial artwork and other art he has done. He has closed down his gallery and would like me to sell off 9,000 of his prints. I know the first thought might be Ebay but I`ve tried it and military art only has a success rate of about 2% on ebay. Anyone have any ideas as to how we could get rid of them? The military art world has taken a nose dive. He doesn`t care what I sell them for, the retail value of an autographed limited edition print is $50 but he is not going to sign these so the value will be much less.Any ideas would be appreciated?

I might look at military antique shows. Gun shows.

Ya I think I might actually take some of them to a airshow next weekend and get a vendor booth

Larry, The artwork is great I have a few of his work myself.  Every Military post has a newspaper so that might be a good place to start.  As retired officer we used to buy them in bulk and present them to officers departing the unit or when they retired.  The magic number for the price is that it can`t cost more that $200 as a gift.  Artwork was always a great gift.

The other market is Miliary associations and Service associations.  They love buying them and auctioning them for fundraisers.  I know how all this stuff works so if you want to know more E-mail me.

Get rid of 9000... peice of cake!
