Hello Nate,

Your on the right foot to start.

First Put your signiture in your profile so everyone can see it everytime you post. So that your link shows place it like the listed one below replacing the data with yours.

Replace this writing with your website name or your link slogan

Once you have a clear working signiture then start visiting all of the many forum threads here and ask many more questions. Not only will you get informative answers, you will also expose your website to others and the net.

Be Cool

Ed

Hi,

I'm in SEO & Internet marketing expert with 5-6 yrs experience in this field , thts why ,i would not like to suggest you to put discounts or pay per visit offers in your site .

It seems like your aim is just to know people tht who r you & wht you do ? i.e simply to increase the visiters on your site tht will increase your popularity & sales as well.

So , to get your target i.e a quality web traffic , you simply need to do a complete SEO process to your website tht include back linking, quality link building , directory submission , blogs , article submission , social networking & many other SEO techniques to push your site to first page of search engines & to increase the page rank of your site .

The whole process will take few months but this is the bestest & stable method to get a long term growth in your business .

you r most welcome if you would like to ask any question to me , related to this .

Good Luck !!!

I have found that marketing a website is best done on the web. The postcard sounds great but I would also start spending time on blogs related to your service or product, get involved in the discussions and leave your back link. I would also start a blog on your service or product.

In the past I took out an ad on the front page of a large national newspaper to help promote my site and found it to have very little effect as far as web traffic goes.

Best of Luck

This goes straight to the concept of the "freemium". A free premium that is offered to incent someone to visit your site.

Yes, money or discounts are a common inducement. But, if you have a special knowledge or experience, you could provide a special report or free analysis as your offer.

Share what is special about you first and they will remember your competitive advantage.

Having a quality website that is easy to find and directed towards a certain topic/market will help you get seen quickly. You want to keep focus on what you want your viewers to see and go from there. Make sure to do marketing and get yourself out there so that people know you exist. It takes time but it will happen.

Forget about print mail. Promote your site through social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter. Trust me, it works!

You can try some of these steps to increase website traffic:

Include useful high-quality information on your site.

Submit your site to various web directories and reference sites.

Publicize your site to everyone with whom you communicate.

Provide a Rich Site Summary

Write a newsletter and send it out.

Ask other high-quality websites to link to your website.

Provide motivation for highly ranked websites to link to yours.

Check out a site before you link back.

Keep your website up.

Translate your website into foreign languages.

you can also follow some technical method like the traffic blazer service or Search engine Visibility service from Tucktail.com

Hi,

Only driving web traffic to your site is not sufficient. Traffic should need to stay more time at your website then only you will get benefits. Otherwise not. You should need to do following for driving potential traffic to your site.

1. Create good article and submit it to high rank sites including hubpages, squidoo, tumblr, etc.

2. As other exclusive members suggested, create more back links.

For staying visitors at your website, you need to put nice attractive web pages and attractive offers like free ebook download, free guidance, free tips, current event Poll, etc. Then visitors are staying more time at your website and read so many pages including your business oriented webpages too.

I hope, these will be helpful to you.

Thanks and regards,

Gitesh
