Good day to all and thank you in advance for your feedback.

The website is http://www.ApartmentPostings.com which we developed thinking it would be an overnight hit.  However, after working day and night for almost a year to develop we're wondering if we did something wrong.

We're getting traffic, sometimes 400 to 600 hits a day but very few are turning into deals. What went wrong? We think the site looks and navigates easily and offers more information for tenants looking for a new apartment then most. We even offer a $200 rebate if a tenant finds their new apartment using our website.

Help! Want went wrong?

Your site looks  good, but perhaps it would be better to have some call to action, as besides scrolling the city names, the user is a bit lost once they arrive on your site

Check your web stats / google stats to see if people are hitting your site but leaving directly from your home page... or going to other pages.

If people are finding your home page then leaving... then your home page is not inducing them to act.

Two suggestions:

(1) are first look your home page resembles those landing pages that sell stuff too good to be tue... it is long and requires scrolling.

(2) You require the viewer to "scroll to find your city name..." I'd suggest eliminating that scroll and simply list the cities from which people can select.
