I'm a college student and I am having trouble deciding what type of business to start. I was wondering if anybody had any sustainable, fun business ideas that have potential but is fairly easy to start and manage. Thanks for your inputs.

Well it is always a good idea to do something that you enjoy! What is it you enjoy? What is it that you feel you can do with minimal guidance?

Ha, don't get to stressed over it.  I think when you go to college you realize just how much there is you can do out there.  My advice is go with something you love to do, because you never know where that will lead you....it may even lead you to something you never thought you would do and you're great at it!  Just don't stress about it!  Most don't use their degree as they get out of college and also ask anyone in their mid 40's they will say "I still don't know what I want to do with my life."  :)

Hey there Greeny.  Always glad to see young entrepreneurs!

You should maybe take a look at my site.  I actually work with alot of college students and help them make real decent income online.

You can check it out at www.EasyIncomeFromHome.net

Also, check out my personal story on my profile.  There might be some things in there that will help you avoid some mistakes with becoming a business owner.

Let me know if I can help you with anything.

Stephen

Thanks for your replies, I appreciate them. Stephen-I looked at your website, thanks for the advice.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a chocolate bar supplier (or some type of supplier that has customizable products like other candies and bottled water and beverages) that offers customizable, marked for resale type chocolate bars? Thanks again.

Do something you enjoy. But the important thing is to keep an open mind. You may have to change what you initially started up doing. Constantly test and measure and you will find the right path.

No knoledge of chocolate bars, but I do have a question.  Are you wanting to start a business becuase jobs are tough to get right now or becuase it is just something you have always wanted to do?  I ask becuase I've seen so many articles about college graduates finding difficulty getting work right now and that many are launching thier own ideas instead with some success.  Personally, I think that is an incredible trend that is happening right now and history very well may look back and change your generations name to generation entrepreneur.

BTW - Doing something you enjoy is obviously good, but doing something you make money at and enjoying the cash is much better. Laughing
