I'm wondering 2 things and hope you'll take just a second to respond:

First:

IF you want to start a business but have not yet:

1.  What is stopping you?

2.  What is the biggest challenge you believe you'll have?

Second:

If you have ALREADY started a business:

1. What is the big challenge you have on a regular (perhaps daily) basis?

2. What do you believe is the biggest challenge you'll have getting it to 'the next level' of success?

To thank you for the consideration of a response, I'd like to give you a free entrepreneurial strengths survey.

http://www.theperfectbizfinder.com/sunsurv

It only takes a minute to complete and, no matter what kind of business you're building (of thinking of building) it will deliver incredibly valuable insight.

You'll get a terrific, detailed report of your individual strengths so you'll know where your greatest success contribution will made in your business.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of a response.

I run several businesses - 2 are already established (2002, 2004) and 2 are in incubation stage (2009, 2010).

1. What is the big challenge you have on a regular (perhaps daily) basis?

My biggest challenge is finding blocks of time - not just "time" - since I deal with knowledge work (consulting, training, coaching, mentoring, writing) and my tasks often need me to work uninterrupted for at least 30 minutes to be counted as "moving one baby step" ahead.

This is incredibly difficult when I also take care of my toddler son! In a sense, I am a full time mom and a full time entrepreneur. To make this happen I redesigned my businesses so I can work whenever I CAN work. It has not been easy, I am extremely impatient, and I have grown used to a certain level of revenue expectation from my business performance.

2. What do you believe is the biggest challenge you'll have getting it to 'the next level' of success?

Seriously it is not very much that I haven't already tackled. If there is something that I should be doing and it is a carefully weighed risk-benefit analysis, I have done it and implemented it.

I've hired coaches and I did what they told me to do. I've looked for innovative ways to work around my personal (parenting) choices... I'll give you an example - I used to construct article outlines in my head or created speeches in my mind while waiting for my son to fall asleep when he was not able to nap without me nearby.

... And I would be remiss if I don't mention that my husband, who works full-time in a "regular 9-5" job - has been a GOD-SEND. He supports my business journeys and my personal/parenting choices. He has been a true partner in every sense of the way.

At this point my biggest challenge may simply be "letting go and going with the flow." Letting go of this illusion of control so I can flow with what comes into my business and all the blessings I already have in my life.

Number one biggest challenge....getting noticed haha. It stinks because I know how positively my company could impact anyone's life, it's just a challenge to get someone to realize that that's never heard of me. Or my company.

I really would love to start my own business for career growth. But what's stopping me to do so is the fact that I am not a risk taker. Business is a risk. If you aren't sure about the product or the service that you are planning to sell well don't go for it . The biggest challenge in starting your own business for me is capital. Due to current global recession it is hard to just get a loan in banks.

My biggest challenge right now is trying to find information on adding PDF links to my website so clients and customers can access forms.  I created my website with Microsoft Frontpage, and I cannot find any reference in adding a PDF hyperlink.  Plus, another challenge I have is revising my current business plan to three plans!  Originally I had written an all-encompassing plan, and now I am in the process of needing to do three business-specific plans for my overall company.  My graphic design business, I am designing my biz forms to better cover any problems or issues with a job.

That's about it for right now.

My biggest day-to-day challenge is self-disclipline.

Business is so competitive that getting to the next level is a matter of being creative and producing something that is unique and in demand.
