I've noticed a lot lately on the message boards that there are a lot of people asking for the basic "how-to's" for Wordpress and I'm trying to pinpoint what it is that people are looking for. I am a designer, but I come from a non-technical background and always try to build sites from a marketing and profit perspective, i.e. conversions, and not just pretty colors and logos, etc.
Is it the actual design and template creation part that people are having issues with or is it finding the right plugins for SEO or is it actually publishing content?
Would a video tutorial site be best or a live training webinar or a forum? Would people be willing to pay for one-on-one training or site coaching with analysis along with design work be good? And are people looking to make money from advertising and and affiliate sales on blogs or promoting businesses?
