This is a hard one for me to figure out but maybe easier for someone else. I am trying to think of the best approach and legal approach to do this. I want to start (4) companies with one company being the "mother" company if this makes sense. Each company is in a different trade therefor when filing a corporation, or a llc or a dba you always have to put in the classification of what you will be doing in business. So one of my questions is, is there a way to file one business license for all 4? I don't think so though so my second question would be the main company would be the mother and then all 3 other companies file individual licenses but is there a way to be able to have them go right back to the main company? Like when you get compensated all your checks either are payable to the mother company or individually but on marketing and advertising I can say x business is a division of mother company. Does this make sense? Please help and thank you. I hope what I am saying isn't as difficult as it sounds lol.

So a lady called today, her familly has about 6 laptops and a desktop (how the other half live eh ) some are running xp, and some vista.
What she ideally wants is all upgraded to win 7, now ive done single pc upgrades, but not this amount, and tbh im not sure how to go about multiple licenses (i dont have a technet account either), another factor is that she may be able to get a student discounted license.
Is it possible she can get multiple licenses at a student rate? or just the first one? and where is a good place (im UK) to get multiple 7 licenses?
