Link sculpting is all about directing the power of your pages within your site. When you obtain a link from another site, you do so in the hope that some of that page’s ranking will rub off on you. When you link between your pages, you’re essentially doing the same thing. Link sculpting is one of the advanced link building techniques that you can apply directly to your website. Essentially, given that a search engine knows that your site has value then you can have some influence about the context in which your site has value.

Link sculpting is an advance method of link building in which instead of getting backlinks from other websites we put our links of different web pages on other pages of the website in the form of anchor text. It is the method which allows users to go around your website through these links.

Link sculpting means using the No follow tag on internal links to direct the flow of PageRank through your site.It is the process of blocking the link juice to pass to the pages which are linked to your page.

For example if you provide a no follow attribute for a page which has a link on your site then it is called link sculpting.
