Hi,

I thought we might be able to all have some fun with a question that I am posing on my webblog. The question is, What if God were a business person? You fill in the blank. Send me your response along with a web link and description of YOUR website or blog and I will post it to my blog and site for you. I look forward to your responses.

Thank You.

To Your success!

Great question Harold.

Excellent What-if.

I cannot give you much of an answer to the question: what if God were a business person, but I can tell you that there are plenty of people in the God business. I hear that the pay is quite good.

Eric -

Interesting observation.  I`m actually a rather big fan of God`s but I must concede your point, there are a lot of people in the God business.  My only comment at the moment is that this doesn`t necessarily mean that they represent very well.

I`ll have to really give this some directed thought but might try to add a couple more cents later.  (notice I said cents, I`m not about to promise any sense    )

Hi Eric and Ross,

Thanks for your observations and insights regarding my question. I hope you do not mind, I would like to post what you have written later on my blog, haroldsays.net.

Eric, there are a lot of people in "God`s" business and the "God`s" business and for some the pay is quite good. However, they make their money robbing widows and the truly poor with their incessant pleas for money...to build a bigger prayer tower or whatever. They truly do not represent the interests of God or his work.

And Ross as far as your observation, these shamsters and scamsters do not truly represent God well at all. Regrettably, God gets the blame for what these people do in his "so called" name.

Regardless, God is and always will be God and will always be able to take care of himself and his universe.

Thanks for posting!

To YOUR success!

I am going to answer your what if question with this. God is a business person! He is like the holding company of many businesses.  And He holds the title of CEO and President of all of the businesses with in that holding company.  Businesses such as:

The business of forgiveness.
The business of Love.
The business of Creation.
The business of Law.

There are many other businesses that He is the head of.  Much too many to list here, but I know of a good book that has them all listed.  If anyone wants a copy of that book just let me know and I would be more than happy to send you one. Best wishes!

Ken

Okay, I`ll play along further:

If God were a business person:

He would have the all time speed construction record.

He would not have to excuse himself from meetings for a potty break

He never had to write a business plan.

He never had to climb the corporate ladder ( His Son was a carpenter, never went to college, but had excellent communication skills so Dad let him rise to the top to show him the ropes)

Outside, his office would be choked with protestors; gay rights activists, feminists, abortion advocates, and countless other religions.

He would have countless marketing awards on his mantle (He calls them churches)

Is the lone descision maker when it comes to who is admitted to his resort when they retire. Sign reads: Only people in affiliated club on earth are welcome. All others can go to   (unless you have a forgiven pass, please check with the front desk)

Nobody would play shuffle board with him because he always wins!

The Father is the Owner, The Lord is the CFR, The Spirit is the Partner. Some guys went to work for Jesus in a field and he gave them a penny. Later in the day some other guys came to work for a penny and the first guys said hey, no fair, we`ve been working longer. Do we learn from the business professional? Also, give 90% to Caesar as long as you can be happy with 10% . Tell ya`ll what. I`ll give you my wonderful ideas and corresponding websites for a small percentage of your 10 year profits. We have an oppurtunity to put together all the small business facts, truths and wisdoms and advice/perspectives of the bible in a special blog. Why don`t you then? I have MyWonderfull.com and want to start a comprehensive world religion site called Our Wonderfull Counselor. Let me give it to you for a percentage of the profits...Awww, come on...

God, Is in Fact, a Business Person !

He`s in the Business of Saving Souls !  He`s also, the one In charge of Your finances, whether you chose to Believe it or Not ! he can Make you and he can Brake you!

if you Doubt the words, just ask Lucifer !

ol Lucifer Tried what we in the Biz call, an LBO.         &n bsp;    Thank your Lucky Stars, that God is a Better Business man than Lucifer, otherwise, you can`t Imagine how Bad things could Realy be !

it`s sad but True, that many are In the God Business, but Few are actualy in the Business of God !

it`s up to Each n Every one of you, to Know the Truth by what is Said ! Simply compare it to what Jesus said!

now There`s a formula for Success if Ever i heard one!

You`r Welcome !
