OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer-- many companies out there have OEM agreements with others. Sears might manufacture a piece of equipment that Joe`s Refrigerators might be able to package and sell nearly as their own.
QA stands for Quality Assurance and QC stands for Quality Control.

An easy example of OEM is an Intel-Windows type of computer. A company
like Dell manufactures their own PC, assembles it, and loads various
software applications. One of those applications is the operating
system, Windows.
Microsoft manufactures Windows, but they aren`t part of Dell. So Dell
purchases an "OEM" version of Windows, which might have the Dell logo
on display or some capability to change the way Windows looks and
works. They then install that version on their PC and sell it to you.
When you have a problem with Windows, and call Microsoft for tech
support, they tell you that they`re not responsible for supporting that
version of Windows. Instead, the "original equipment manufacturer" has
taken over the tech support responsibility, and Microsoft hangs up the
phone.
