What are your ultimate goals?

Through my experiences, I have learned that in order to accomplish your goals you must seek out help and inform individuals around you about your aspirations.

Therefore, I encourage everyone to post their ultimate goals. In return, read other people’s goals. If you can help someone, reach out to them.

PAY IT FORWARD!!

My Ultimate Goals (Not in any particular order)

  1. To be on the cover of a national magazine
  2. To be a national spokesperson
  3. To start a non-profit
  4. To be a guest on The Oprah Show
  5. To launch a marketing and public relations firm
  6. To have a nationally syndicated column
  7. To be a correspondent on a nationally syndicated radio show
  8. To write a best-selling self-help book

Great set of aspirations, Shayla! You might consider posting your goals (and progress) on your profile page and we can check on you periodically to see you achieve them (and the occasional setbacks).

Here`s a big one for me: Work for myself, where I want, when I want.

Say `hi` to Oprah for me when has you on to talk about your book!

I think that this would be an awesome idea to give everyone the opportunity to have a goals section in their profiles. SuN gives tips on goal setting, it would be great if they had a function that helped people be more accountable for their actions. Its easy to write goals on a piece of paper and "misplace" the paper, but if they are on a public forum for the world to see, you kind of have more of a mindset to get them done.

As for my goals.
1. There is an organization that I am currently building a business base with that I am looking to be the primary source for their engraving needs.
2. Finish out my equipment needs to further my business parimitars.
3. Become totally self sufficient so that I can spend more time with my wife and daughter and not worry about selling my soul to a job to make ends meet.

My ultimate goal is to travel around the world - which has nothing to do
with my company! My current business goal is to get 5,000 books listed on
my website for self-published authors (www.jexbo.com). At the moment,
that seems pretty ultimate to me.

Great thread!

My ultimate goals are to —
  1. create a measurable reduction in US dependence on foreign oil
  2. assist with beta testing, introducing and marketing a "next big thing" on the internet (goes along with #1)
  3. cover college tuition for 14 nieces & nephews
  4. a home in Oregon & one in PA
  5. make it to the Colbert Report
  6. a Tesla
  7. start a program teaching writing in women`s prisons
  8. start more companies, eventually invest in other peoples` start-up companies. I am involved in a project right now that I am heartbroken I can`t toss these guys a few millions to make their vision happen. Their talent and genius awes me and I can do so little to help. I will never be in this position again.
  9. show up those bitches from that other startup I helped with, who tried to screw me over in a very very serious way
  10. a high-end amateur telescope & CCD imaging setup
