This summer I will be taking the leap of faith into entrepreneurship. My goal is to establish a multimedia company that provides career guidance to young adults who aspire to pursue a passion.
Our career guidance stems from interviews we conduct with passionate professionals on summer roadtrip tours. Last summer we interviewed 75 individuals about career paths and posted our material to pursuethepassion.com for others to benefit from.
Due to the positive response of the first tour, I have decided to conduct a second tour in which we will complete 200 interviews and visit 20 high school and college campuses to speak with students about what we`ve learned in our interviews. We would also like to completely redo the website so it can truly help out young adults in their careers like SuN has helped entrepreneurs in their ventures.
This tour generates mutually beneficial sponsorship opportunities for corporations, small businesses, and individuals. There are plenty of promotions and advertising opportunites that can come out of our tour, as well as generating positive public relations for a sponsor.
My problem is finding the corporations and businesses willing to sponsor this project. More specifically, my target sponsors, the companies willing to partner with us to provide their resources in exchange for the beneficial opportunities we can provide them.
So my question to the SuN community is who should I target and how should I go about contacting them?
