Hello @all,
have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel to a foreign place, yet see it as though you`ve always lived there?
My idea is based on travel arrangements for those who want to travel further into the local culture and go
beyond the traditional tourist trail, offering personal contacts with
local people. They come from many walks of life, they might be
English-speaking natives, they might be American or British expats. You
don`t hire them as guides; they`re your hosts. They don`t consider you
a client but treat you as their guests.
Hosts could be..:
... a chef in Provence
... a wine-writer in Bordeaux
... a cookbook author in Paris
... a villa rental agent in Tuscany
... a teacher in Rome
... a personal shopper in Milan
... a hotelier on Crete
... an interpreter in Dubrovnik
... a safari operator in Botswana
... a wine & food journalist in Seattle an so on...
What Do you Think?
Carsten
