I get the most out of knowing I built the site and it is now out there for everyone to see. I worked hard on it and it took me a while to do because I am a novas and trying to be my own boss. This is alot of fun and I learn alot from Startup Nation. These Guys are the greatest. Thank You. Owner of Don`s Custom Flys of Ammon Idaho.

What gives me the most satisfaction is my clients themselves, as people. I feel a great deal of genuine affection for all of them. Recently I asked one of my clients for a testimonial and part of what she wrote was, "... we feel like Paula is part of our community." That made me very happy. I think a strong business relationship built on trust and mutual respect is one of life`s great, underrated joys.

My current satisfacion is that I discovered my inner writer in the past 18 months.  Actually, it`s that others have discovered that I can write that makes me happy.  I`ve been writing a monthly 4 page newsletter for over 5 years now which makes me laugh.  I dropped English 100 three times in college and still never took it because it entailed writing several massive papers and I felt like I was already behind on the first day so I always bailed out of the class.  Now I am thinking about finishing my degree with a bachelor`s of general studies with an emphasis on writing.

But, this past year, I have found a passion for writing.  Which in return has gained me the respect of some of the magazines and organizations in my industry for whom I am starting to write regularly.  Now, I just need a paid gig to increase the satisfaction of my bank account - LOL!

For me it is knowing that whoever joins my business will have the same benefits and success as me and everyone else in the organisation, because it is 100% duplicatable.Pay it forward!

Kim,

I think that`s great that you found your passion in writing and that it`s getting you attention from magazines.  That`s a great place to be, and I`m sure you`re enjoying it!

As mentioned in other posts, I failed to say, I too, get a lot of satisfaction from my, (I guess customers, not clients). I enjoy reading our testimonials too, to know our customers appreciate our product and customer service.

No matter what your business is, if you contribute to  others with your work, product or service and have happy customers and clients, it can only lead you, to some form of satisfaction. Hopefully a lot. :)

My greatest satisfaction in my business is that I can build my business from home.

I truly love working from home and the internet provides the way to have a virtual but very real business.

Dale,
I would have to agree with you. I love the fact that I can just open my ofice door in my pajamas if I have no meeting that day and get to work. I also love that fact that I am my own boss and Im not making someone else rich with my talents and skills. However, my biggest satisfaction is that I can have a flexible enough schedule to still raise my kids. I can stop working anytime I need to so that I am able to attend a soccer or baseball game without permission from anyome but myself. That is by far the biggest satisfaction of them all.

One of the things that satisfies me most about having a home based business is that it allows a more humane pace of life. Work is not all of life, just an ingredient in the mix. I am accomplishing a goal of having work at a speed aligned with the pace of the earth`s seasons. Another satisfying thing about being a homepreneur is that it is simply the best fit for my basically introverted, reflective personality. "Different strokes for different folks". One loves living the life of "problem solving" away from home. Another prefers the "problem solving" embedded in family life inside the home (I`m the second kind). The problem arises when one kind is forced into the role of the other.
