My book BTW - Do some research on Kiyosaki.  He`s a fraud.  I bought all his books before finding this out.  Too bad, `cause his ideas "seem" solid.  Turns out he made all his $$$ selling books, not in RealEstate like he claims.

One of my favorites are Mark Twain's Roughing It.  But, copies are hard to find since the book went out of print several decades ago.  If do find a copy though, have the ambulance number on speed dial.  You need it when you bust a gut laughing.

Another favorite is Journal of a Trapper.  It's the actual journal of a trapper who roamed the western United States in the late 1800's.

Finally, I Heard the Owl Call My Name.  Very well written book about a priest assigned to the wilds of Alaska.  Keep a lot of Kleenex on hand though because it is a real tear jerker.

Since I couldn't find a book that would lay out step-by-step day-to-day bookkeeping, I wrote one!  "How To Do Your Own Small Business Bookkeeping utilizing QuickBooks software" (available through Amazon.com)

My favorite biz book is the 2-minute commute by Christine Durst and Michael Haaren.  Although it is aimed towards Virtual Assistants, the home-based strategies are sound.
