Hi,

When trying to show your potential customer that you are a professional business it`s a good idea to get a website that looks that way!

Please look at the link below and post your reply to tell me if you think that this website is a professional website and would YOU buy from it.

Remember, clients who visit this website spend in the region of £6,500.00 in one transaction, would you feel okay about doing this?

It loads a bit funny in firefox and the online store page is `coming soon`.  I think its pretty good though, once you popular the content and clean it up a bit.

The web site looks clean and professional but it also looks like a
template. There is nothing that distinguishes it from any other memory
gear website. Big stock photo image, white background, content
underneath.
www.maxtor.com
www.iogear.com

In general, I would buy from the site especially if I were looking for a
particular product at a certain price. It looks trustworthy, safe and clean.
Since your site does not look that much different from other memory
sites then I think the only deciding factor would be the price per unit.

However, if your average customer is spending a premium amount of
money for your products then your brand image which includes your web
site should look premium and different from the competition. This can be
done with use of color highlighting a new product, better photography,
etc. Otherwise, the question for the consumer becomes why should I pay
more for this when I can get from merchant X for a lot less.

Looking at the items on your site, the industrial design of the flash drives
look cool, modern, sleek and cutting edge technology, solid and most
importantly different. Your site should convey that too. Are the flash drive
designs proprietary to you? If they are, then you should emphasize that
too. Then you are shifting the emphasis for the consumer to quality and
uniqueness which they are willing to pay a little more.

I apologize for rambling on but these are my thoughts on it.

For me, it just looks like your typical "buy from us" website.

I would say it doesn`t entice me to buy, but it doesn`t discourage me either so from that point of view it`s a good start.  Thinking to the future though, you might want to try to add that "something" that turns browsers into buyers.  Even if your target market is driven to your site pre-qualified as actively pursuing a purchase, you want it to give them that extra confidence to solidify the buy.

I`m big on relationship so maybe that`s what I`m missing at your site, it just feels sterile, nothing that builds loyalty.  It`s just another site to browse when I`m looking for the "cheapest" product.

Hope this helps...

try showing the end user using it. like how apple ipod ads show people
using the ipod.

like the ones you have with a cororate logo, I`d like to see the unit on a BMW
key chain or in the ignition or in the hand of the girl who`s going to drive,

or some intriguing "007" scenario,

just my two cents,

blessings,
