The IDEA Cafe has been meeting in Denver for 12 years, most recently as a meetup.com group. http://ideacafe.meetup.com  We try to be helpful to people who have just had the light bulb come on that they might like to go into business for themselves. We follow the teachings of Dr. Amar Bhide, www.bhide.net, who has found that successful new businesses don`t start the way we think they should! I say I`m a recovering MBA because a lot of what I was taught in graduate business school I`ve had to overcome to be helpful to people who are starting with inspiration and prespiration!

We meet the 4th Friday of each month, please join us to share your startup experience. RSVP at http://ideacafe.meetup.com/1

Wow, the event was fantastic. First time meeting Rich and Jeff and I can`t even begin to describe the type of vibe coming off that room that night. The excitement could certainly be felt, which made one of Jeff`s point really obvious: "We believe Entrepreneurship - or at least the `how to` part of it - can be taught, but the passion, that can`t be taught, it comes from within you and from being part of this community."

And certainly enough, many of us left that night feeling very energized and even more passionate about who we are and what we`re trying to do.

Thank you very much to both for your time!
