All I get is `click here to install plug-in` you should make your site navigable without the plug-ins. More often than not those plug-ins are the way to get malware into pcs., I know not everybody does this but the best way to keep my pc worry free is to not have those plug-ins. Since we don`t know the nature of a site (whether it`s trustworthy or not) before we go there having those plug-ins is gambling on the goodness of others. I only go to a site with a fully enabled browser once I know the people and I`ve developed a level of trust on the site.

Click here to install plug-in? It did not allow you to open the website at all?  That worries me.

Thanks for the feedback, i appreciate that.

HI, is there anyone out there that can help me? I have recently joined Startup Nation. I want to create a profile, but I do not have a website, nor a url. Is it necessary for me to have a website?

Thanking all of you in advance for your help, kindness and consideration.

No, it is not required.  Just enter as much information as you`d like.  The more the better.

No, a website is not necessary;  however, several friends of mine who are small business owners - say that NOT EVERYTHING FITS ON A BUSINESS CARD.  I saw their point.  The overflow needs to go somewhere.  My overflow is on the Website.

You can put as much or as little info on there as you want. If you are starting a company, you will probably want to consider a website ... but if you are just here looking around, feel free to not put any contact info and just participate in the threads.

And welcome to Startup Nation! Are you here for a specific project, or just thinking of something?

Hi, thanks for responding to my question. Yes, I am here for a specific project. I am trying to start a computer consulting business in the New Jersey area. I am hoping to attract clients through forums. My marketing skills are non-existent,  hopefully I will have some success in attracting clients through here.

Once again, thanks for your response.

Hi Charles :-) Welcome to the Startup Nation (SuN) community.

I`d suggest starting another topic, and call it something like "Help starting Computer Consulting business." You`ll likely get plenty of help and advice, opinions and discussion.
