I have a website that I just started trying to help people form an LLC for free. So the domain is howtoformanllc.org. Can I get some helpful feedback especially since it will be people like you guys that will hopefully be using the website?

Thanks,

Joe

The first thing I see is a huge blue screen full of text. I am immediatly forced to scan this field to figure out what its trying to force my eyes to find. I would see if reworking that into a drop down would be less visually taxing.

I love how you set up your logo. I would make the blues darker to highten the effect.

can all the social media links in the upper right hand corner be on one line? It honestly looks like you tried to add a separate table row for the google plus so it is now a separate cell group. try adding it to the same tr as the facebook and twitter td's.

Try adding a css hover to your buttons

Why so blue? everything is blue with no contrasting colors so you may want to either downplay that or add something besides blue. it is a very good color but that is just so much of it I am not sure what is important and what is a button and what is an ad.

Everything also seems very big. More and more information sites have at least one side bar so seeing a site without it seems weird. just food for thought on that no problem either way.

So i clicked on my state to see what happens and I now see a start here button. I was taken aback by that. what do I need to start? why isnt the different color text express service a link (its blue)? I am here for a do it yourself feature because you bill it as a how to but the first thing I see is a couple ads and what appears to be a button to take me to a page to buy a service. It feels real bait and switchy. So move the service button lower on the page and have the how to be at the top. Move the google ads to either a small box on the left margin so they are still first seen (we read left to right top to bottom) or to the bottom of the page to remove the perceived pressure. I dislike a page that seems like little content and many ads it feels like a sales pitch not a information page. Plus if they do read to the bottom yo have no button there for them to click so easy is always better. I would personally rework the whole page to be here is the multi-step process to do it yourself at the top and a smaller we can do it for you area at the bottom.

I would also change the top link Questions? to actually say forums. a question? link would make me think that there is a FAQ or a email form to fill out not a community link.
