First, apologies if this is the wrong forum for this question.
I am looking to see if anyone know of any website(s) where one can view the latest startup companies that have burst onto the scene, particularly from the technology industry. It is easy to find the big boys (Google, Microsoft, etc.), but not so easy to find the smaller folks.

I think this is on the right track to what I might be looking for.
Just to be clearer, in doing research regarding a product I would want to develop, I want to be able to look at the products of various companies. Let`s say the product is software, I know that I can go to google.com, microsoft.com, etc and look at their product offerings. But there are so many software companies in the U.S. and the world that I may have never heard of. I am looking for a good site that lists technology companies, startup, small and big.
