Try Google Webmaster Tools: https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=sitemaps&passive=true&nui=1&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fwebmasters%2Ftools%2Fdashboard&followup=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fwebmasters%2Ftools%2Fdashboard&hl=en
Wow, what a long url..LOL.
From there you can track your site, look for errors and check how Google see`s your site.
You can also use Google Analytics, which helps track your visitors.
Good if you want to keep track of ad campaigns.
Good luck Sandra !

I am sorry to interrupt here with no wrong intention and I might sound bit harsh with the reality. My take would not to confuse and mis-direct Sandy.....making a site map and submission becomes relevant only when other on-page and off-page criterias are met. Even if her site map is submitted it will not change anything. In her case nothing has been met.....her domain name is not the best for her theme (so does your`s Mr/Ms.Bluto), her keywords of each page are erratic and not researched and I bet these can never come up in Search Engines.....her on-page SEO factors including content and finding relevant keywords are missing....She so far had managed only one inbound link that too from a site ranked I think around 10.5 million.

So Google analytics and all these stuffs will just be useless for her as there are no visitors for her at this moment. Atleast my take would not to make her more confused with information overlead and encourage her to move and spend time direction less with end result zero.

As a well wisher I would never suggest her to buy shopping card etc. at this point of time as she has no organic visitors and the reality is that she will never get any in the present scenario.

Being a professional webmaster I can only say that I have seen people taking wrong decision and quit the market in due course after spending enought money with no return. I hope this doesn`t happen with Sandy.

Best wishes,

Saikat

I don`t want to hijack this either but, I wish I could see your full post. All of them get cut off on the right side, so I`m missing some key words in your post yahoo.
It was my understanding that Sandra did submit her site to all the major search engines.
If she has, a sitemap will certainly help, If she hasn`t, then my mistake.
And I find it surprising you suggest she not add a shopping cart. It`s a key element.
Speaking from a shoppers view, I`d find another site that had one instead of trying to
make the phone call to buy what I wanted. Confirmation of what you are buying,
visually, is much more reassuring than a phone sale. That = lost sales opportunities.
If Sandra does not have the capabilities to integrate it,
she has shown herself to be smart enough to seek help to do so.
Aslo, many hosts offer free cart installs, so "buying" the software
may not be an issue at all.

Dear Bluto,

No offense to what you advised. But as per my professional experience it didn`t looked to be relevant solution for Sandra. (1) Site map has nothing to do with directory submission. Submission of a site map to a search engine is different than submission of your URL to a directory. (2) If it is listed in directory also(lets wish the wishful) it still do not guarantee her luck to get visitors and I am sure no other thoughts can say that sales is possible without any visitors. (3) Shoppng cart can only be relevant if she gets good regular visitors.....if you have seen her site as per the Alexa traffic ranking report. I think the hard reality is that only she herself or we here in this forum are the only visitors....and proposing to buy or incorporate a shopping cart will just add to her agony of investments (rather dead investments) especially when she says she is short in funds.

I am sure she has sufficient stuffs and information now to take her decision....

Ok, I believe I concur. But I`m still missing big pieces of posts.
Sentences are being cut off on the right side.
I think we could use a percent change on the post width here.
I have about 3 inches of unused space on the right side.
Anyway, back to the point.
Good luck Sandra, in whichever direction you decide to go, or even stay with what you have.
