I'm nearing the last stages of development for my new online software venture.  A key piece of the puzzle I am missing is a sales video for the homepage.  I'm looking for a cost effect/near free solution to help build the sales video.

I already checked out animoto.com and am not too thrilled with what they can create.  I think a simple slideshow type video may do the trick, but I am open to all potential ideas.

I am looking to spend under $100 in total to create the video.

Smarterfootball.com is the current temp site if you want an idea of the product.  Full selling content is not yet loaded.

Thanks in advance everybody.

You had me up till you said "Free".

You can make a decent slide show with audio using many of the low-cost or free video editing programs.  Personally, I would recommend Sony Vegas Studio.  You may be able to do it with the tools built into Windows.

You can also make a nice video using windows movie maker which is free from Microsoft. You can add video's and pictures and create a nice movie using this software. You don't have to spend any money, just video using digital camera and make the movie.

Hope this helps. send message if you have more questions. Glad to help.
