I have recently launched a free, easy to use online invoice solution called BillRocket - http://www.billrocket.com

Billrocket was created with two objectives - to eliminate invoice chores for businesses and to help them to get paid FAST. Invoices are easily created and sent automatically on a recurring basis.  Details reports about clients and invoices management can be easily retrieved and accessed.  It is built especially for consultants, freelancers, home-based and small businesses.

You are invited to register for a free signup account. You can create Unlimited invoices and Unlimited clients.

I invite you to have a look, and your feedback and suggestions are much appreciated!

Sincerely,

Michael

Hi Michael

The tabs at the top of the page, in the shaded gray, seem a bit hard to notice. Also, in the Learn More page, the green subheadings almost fade into the white page background. It`d be nice to have a bit more contrast, as far as these old eyes would be concerned. :-)

Your "Try it Free" area, apparently the whole upper banner area with the no more licking, stamping, and so forth, produced an error: "Connection with billpay unexpectedly terminated," or words to that effect. (Using FireFox 1.0.4, DSL, Win98SE.)

Site loads quickly, runs fast, and is precise and to the point. I`d just like to see a better demo (any demo, first, but I`ll suppose it`s there). :-)

Wow....! I didn`t imagine a whole login and account name! ;-D Thank you very much...!

I went to the site and logged in. Very interesting, and certainly a good way to use online database structure and information. I would assume it`s a secure site?

But to the point: What bothers me is that viewing your site NOT as a customer, NOT logged in, and NOT with an account, I really saw little there to attract me. It`s ONLY because you provided a personal touch of direct, individual marketing, that I pursued the product information.

So how can you bring that sort of individual approach out into the general public, and provide the same additional interest?

I see two types of sites selling a service product like this. The first is like yours and some others in the related field. They state a bunch of hype, describe the service with adjectives, then ask me to log in or register or create a free account, or whatever. Only then do I see what`s going to come of it.

The other type of site, one which I often end up buying into, provides me with something MORE than adjectives, descriptions, and sales pitch. It shows me what I`d get if I were to pursue the free trial.

I see no reason why you can`t produce a demo, hopefully interactive, where you provide the essentials I`d like to see. Let me put in nothing or only my name. Then move me through the steps, using a click-through "next" button. Allow me to upload a single graphic, suggesting it be a logo and make that optional.

When I "next" through all the screens of what you offer, then show me a dummy invoice with my name (address can be junk), and my logo. All I want is to see what I would look like, quickly, if I were to actually wake myself up, register for the free trial, and actually type in real information. That, I think would be the grabber. But it`s only my thought, based on how I wander around Web sites. :-)

I really do like your account maintenance feature, though, and how I can edit things. I`d just like to see an example on my screen, but not that I`d then have to cancel out of from a "preview" just before it actually gets sent!
