Hello,
I have a website (http://www.designyourownperfume.co.uk) and I would really appreciate any feedback.
As you can guess, I made it myself using Yola, and I'm by no means a website designer- but my budget is low at the moment.
The aim of the website is to encourage people to design and buy their own signature perfume; or alternatively, buy the service as a gift for someone else ie a girlfriend or something like that.
I don't have a lot of visitors at the moment (it averages at about 7 unique visitors per day- sigh- I am working on this) but I do make the odd sale, so I am a little hopeful it has potential if done correctly.
Something I have noticed is that often people will go to the trouble of filling out the entire form in the "perfume lab" area, and then not go on to pay- is there something that is putting them off at that stage or is this just normal fall out, as it were?
Is the site fun and engaging enough for a female? Also is it clear enough that men could use the site to buy gift certificates for their loved ones?
What would you do to improve it? (bearing in mind that I don't have a lot of money right now!)
I'm well aware that the site isn't perfect, I just don't know where to start; so don't hold back I can take it! ;)
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and reply!
