Hello:

For many new home-based startups, getting a webpage seems to far to reach.  I used Wix.com to create my site.  My company was up and running in a matter of days.  Go-Daddy.com is where I bought the .com address and hosting from.  I also started a Facebook business page.  There are so many easy ways of jumping in with both feet.  Google adwords, Facebook ads etc..  If you want to see an example go to my site at whiteoakorganics.com

Also Vistprint made magnetic signs and business cards quickly.

I use Joomla and Wordpress for my website. I have observed your website its pretty nice in look but you need to make some changed  for search engine optimization as it is flash based site there is no URL present which you can use to promote specific products. So this kind of structure isn't appropriate for SEO.

I agree to that Delois. This website must be amended.

I've been using GoDaddy to purchase my Domains. You can usually find a coupon code online to save a few bucks (even for renewals). I currently use 3dCart for my hosting and web page design and functions. It's $20/mo for the lowest package but that includes the hosting cost which was like $5 with GoDaddy. They charge you a lot for extras if you don't know how to do it yourself with HTML/programming but if you just want basics and don't mind sticking with a preset template, then I would recommend it. They allow you to incorporate uploading or downloading for customer purchases which was key for me. I've tried Joomla before 3dCart but I hated it because I spend too much time trying to figure everything out since I don't know a ton of HTML/programming and the support is really just people posting in forums.

If you want a really basic site you can use Weebly for free. I also use Weebly  - it's better than GoDaddy's free Startup page from website tonight.

Nice one, but aren't flash based websites a nightmare if it comes to SEO??

If you have a $15 - $35 budget for your business's website. Go to Themeforest. My eCommerce business was built using one of the templates there, you can browse depending what your business is (restaurant, law firm etc.) i'd say i'm pretty satisfied and all you have to do is to customize it to match it to your business aside from that the designs are top-notch and you have a full support from the author of the template you bought from.
