Hi,  I am looking for feedback/review for my new website.  I did  not create it myself, it is a template. I still need to make adjustments to some of the copy and I want to move some pages around.  I welcome any suggestions. My next step will be SEO....I will be searching through the SUN forums for more info on this.....that`s for sure.    Thank you very much.

Hi Gags,

I really like the colors and the layout. That`s one of the best templates I`ve seen for this industry. Your site is easy on the eyes and is very fluid.

The only suggestion I can offer you would be some content work. I can say -- being the grammar freak that I am -- that I found some spelling and grammatical errors. Also, it seems that people don`t realize that the word Web site is really two words where Web is capitalized and site is not. Just a side note.

I really like it. It`s very easy to navigate. Great job! I`m sure others will have comments, but those are just my two cents.

Good Luck!
Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,   thank you for the input.  Yes, my next step is to review the content and make some changes.  Spelling errors?  wow,  I did not write any of it.  Do you remember which page(s) had the errors.   How embarrassing. Thank you very much for reviewing my Web site.

Hi Gags,

Nice site, well laid out, looks good and it`s easy to navigate.

I would say you need to differentiate yourself from everybody else, what is your selling proposition? Why would I and everybody else apply for a loan at your site as supposed to any of the many better known sites out there, what makes your site special? Why would I choose your site as supposed to Wells Fargo’s or at my bank next door where they know me?

Also you don’t have a legal section at all, all I see is a ‘privacy policy’ and it is extremely basic, better suited for somebody selling plastic toys in Ebay than loans. The ‘about us’ page says nothing about you guys, all it says is what you (they) will do, not how or whom are you people. What is the relationship with Myersinternet? If you search for Myersinternet.com in Register.com where the domain is registered you get a decent return that inspires confidence, if you do the same thing on your site you get this
Domain Name: lowquotesdirect.com

Created on..............: Sat, Feb 11, 2006
Expires on..............: Sun, Feb 11, 2007
Record last updated on..: Sat, Oct 28, 2006

That would concern me a little bit, you have a site registered for one year, I would like to see a domain with longer history or at least where the owner thinks he’ll be around in ten years. Why only register it for one year? Of course some registrars don’t give you an option i/e Yahoo if you select one year to begin with you are stuck with yearly renewals you can’t make it for five or ten years later on. Anyways, making this too long, sometimes I get a bit long winded ;-)

Hi Elids,   thank you for your feedback.  very informative.  I didn`t even think about looking up my domain information to get a insight about my company.  Yes, I agree with you on the legal section and making some changes to content, especially `about us`.   Thank you for pointing this out.

Rich.
