You`re welcome. :-)
It`s not that you have a horribly frightening Web site, y`know? It just
could use some tweaking. That`s the thing about technology, it`s always
something you can mess with, change, modify, and so forth. Particularly
Web content!
You actually have a nice theme going, and the colors don`t interfere,
highlighting your content area. I wonder if you could resize the banner
so that it matches the width of that content area? That`s just an
artistic thought, not an "emergency." :-D
Here`s a rewrite of your front page content, as a better example of what I see missing:
Welcome to PCDI Health Care (<--should be an H1 tag)
Located in Dallas, TX, we pride ourselves on offering affordable civil
mediation, long-term care advocacy, and placement assistance for
nursing-home and assisted-living patients.
Our mission is to provide personal, high-quality care to patients in
home-care settings, supporting their dignity and safety. Our home
health care and hospice programs maintain every patient`s right and
freedom to choose his or her own pathway to healing and recovery.
We base our company policies on Christian teachings, in the belief
that serving others respectfully is part of serving Christ. Among the
various programs we offer, two of our most popular are:
- An employment staffing agency that caters to employing ministry staff,
- A stable food ministry that prepares hot meals to our patients as
part of their package and also to the Dallas homeless population.
What I`m doing is consolidating your "home" and "about" page, focusing
in more on what exactly it is you do, how you do it, why you do it, and
(in your estimation) how it will make life better for your customers.
You`ll need an "action step" on the first page, in order for people to
"find out more," or enroll, register, or something specific. It isn`t
enough to have a "contact us" in your navigation menu. What you
presumably are using this site to accomplish is 1) show yourself to
area people, 2) inform them that such programs exist and what they
mean, and 3) get them actively involved in your business.
It`s step 3 that needs more work.
