It's still a problem for search engines but you can use it at header of your website and banners but don't make 100% flash website

Using flash in web designing is not seo friendly as crawlers do not read flashy content. So only use flash where  it is necessary.

There has been some improvements to flash by search engines, but it's still best not to overload your site with it. You can use some elements of flash when required but try to keep it at a minimal.

Yes, you can include flash content into your website but along with that also include some keyword rich content so that you can rank the website in search engine easily.

My whole site is made in flash but ranking on first page of google. For flash you need to use java script which can check flash plug is available if not the display the html version.

It is not a big problem to use Flash, just don't make it 100% flash based. Use some h1 tag with your keyword and have a space for text content, so Google can read it. Use keywords in the Title of the page too.

flash is not advisable from an SEO perspective.  the simpler your code, the easier for search engine spiders to navigate. that said, keep the objectives of your site in mind first. if your goal is not organic search traffic (i.e. if your website is your online business card), then you may focus on aesthetics such as flash design. all the best to you

Good advice. I appreciate you. I guess we can also use different templates like banner template, a sidebar template, a footer template, etc. Then, on the actual web pages, you just need to insert coding, where you want it to appear on the page.
