i`m pretty satisfied that it`s "pike" given your overwhelming responses that pipe ain`t ripe.

another one that perplexes me: "rack your brain"

it`s something i often have to do but don`t know how the expression fits what`s actually happening.

Is it "rack" or "wrack" ? Or does it even matter? I`m not sure. *L*

Wrack: S: (v) bust up, wreck, wrack (smash or break forcefully) "The kid busted up the car"

That`s the best I can do for you on that one :-)

I`m going to start saying, "Coming down the pikeline," just to drive everyone nuts.
Rack you brains... Could that be a pool reference? Or perhaps, from the "rack" torture treatment that medieval folks used to give peasants who went around saying, "coming down the pipe."

now christina is DEFINITELY laughing out loud. and i am too!

i think we should do a campaign to try to get swaynester`s rating up to a 5 by citing a series of his posts... a kind of "best of" in homage to him...

I`ve noticed that we can`t rate the StartupNation Team. What`s up with that?

steve,

since there are no "6" rating possible, we figured we better bow out of the rating process...

I was hoping it wasn`t because you were afraid of customer feedback.

Mine goes to 6.... Why does this remind me of a scene from Spinal Tap?

OMG! I love Spinal Tap. My favorite is when the dwarfs dance around the tiny Stonehenge model;. I laugh my butt off every time! We have it on DVD.
