   Hello everybody!

Together  with my partner, I plan to start our remarkable Training & Development business in the Seattle area this year.

We will be offering services such as Management Development and Personal Effectiveness training, T&D consultancy, Return-on-Investment consultancy, Coaching, Counselling and Therapy. We are aiming mostly for corporate clients on the US west-coast but also want to include individuals.

I have been a corporate trainer for the past 10 years and my partner has operated and owned a very succesfull occupational therapy company in The Netherlands. Now we are ready to move to the States! Not just for our love for the country but because we believe we can achieve much more there than we can at home.

The course materials are ready, the business plan is nearly finished and the office location has been selected. Now, we are looking for a way in. Both my partner and I are Dutch nationals and we have no existing network yet. Also, we need some guidance into the US business culture when it comes to connecting, acquiring and agreeing.

Is there anyone out there who could provide us with advice on how to come in from scratch? Does anybody have experience in the corporae T&D environment in the US?

All your comments, advice, questions and other texts are greatly appreciated!

Pascal
