I`ve been working out hard and that helps me mentally and physically deal with the ups and downs of entrepreneurialshippedness or whatever word I`m getting at. And what`s that old saying about you`re selling yourself not your product or service? Well if all else fails and you are in good shape you could take that literally! Quentin

Thanks for the post...my prob is time management.  I usually never have time to get everything some I want doen in a nday (I`m sure I`m not the only one.  I do however always make time for walk or a bike ride..I tout that I am clearing my head, but I agree, being physically active does help clear the mind and refresh the spirit.

I guess it falls right in line with the whole life - work balance topic, eh!

Quentin - I`m glad you`re making time for yourself.

I know I mentioned in another thread going to gym was not one of my
favorite things to do. However, I started going back this week. My goal is
to get in and out as quickly as I can so even on the really stressed,
deadline looming days maybe I`ll still be able to go.

Sometimes it`s hard to fit everything into a day, but I`m committed to
making a serious effort this time.

Actually getting dressed, leaving the house and driving to the gym was one of the things I couldn`t seem to find the time or desire to do.  For me the answer was install a complete gym in the basement of my home/studio and it`s much easier to find the time (and I can watch what I want on the wall-mounted television!).  Most of the equipment was purchased from a company that was going out of business and no longer had the need for their employee gym.  It`s has turned out to be much more cost-effective than paying monthly gym membership for a facility I was not using.

Need I embarrass myself by admitting that it has been two weeks since I went to the gym.  I could bemoan the children, part-time consulting gig or FT start-up as reasons, but really I just choose not to make time.  As a cheerleading coach, I have no excuses.  I suppose when I lose the ability to get my backside off the ground to demostrate jumps I will gain some motivation.  HA!

Actually I have not been to a gym in years...don`t likem. I workout for free either at home or at a park. Lie down in the grass and do situps..flip over and do push ups and supermans...find an imoveable object and do isometric curls and more...run a few miles around the park..or on the road at home....just like making a startup work as the founder it comes down to will power...how bad to you want it!
