hey guys,

ive made the site and signed up with google adsense.

however ive only got like 15 clicks in 2-3 days, although the impressions were about 1600.

what more can i do? any thoughts?

i sell tie cufflinks on the website

Depends on the placement, ad types, etc. Also, your content determines the ads that get displayed, so you may be limited to how many ads show up, and the quality of those ads.

My ads usually average around a 3% click through, which is probably about average from what I`ve heard.

I would agree, think about the placement on the pages. Also folks are not clicking as much as in the past. So proper placement is key. Also does it blend well with your website?

I would agree that about 3-5% CTR is normal.

I haven't used the Google adsense..I got the PPC Pay per click service from Thewebpole.com this helped to get more traffic and clicks and earning...You can try this you can get traffic for your sites in short term...

As a current SEO and digital content consultant for the past nine years I concur with the uncertain nature of webtraffic numbers. Some analytics programs measure hits as visitors and some count bot visits as unique visitors.
