A little while back i requested some feedback on my business and website, with all the great responces I got back we have dicided to hire a website desighner and in a way start over, and do it right.  Start up nation has been a tremendous help ( did not use start up nation the first time we started).  Me and my mother have been burned before by fast talking sales people and are wondering if people have had any expierience with Heritage Internet Teqniches or Website Forge.  One company has you pay a maintence fee and one teaches you how to add products and then lets you fly on your own but are always a phone call away.

I am not real sure what to go for.  If you have any feedback on these companies I would really appreciate hearing from you or if you have other companies that you have good expieriences with that would also be great.

thanks sara

I'm not a designer, but I believe that you need to be hands on with your website. Go with the developer that teaches you and not the one that charges a maintenance fee.

In all honesty,

I would go with the designer that helps you do things on your own but also being available to you when needed. They are not only putting the effort to get your website up and running, but also want you to know how to do things on your own.

If you are really worried consider outsourcing online. There are many places that do web design, don't go with the first few quotes you get. Look around everywhere. There are options everywhere.

I am nobody, but I looked at your site anyway. I think it is pretty good. A quick observation: for Pete's sake check your spelling!
