I read somewhere about a website where people offer their services in return for equity in the new company - project - thus allowing companies to bring their products to life while keeping expenses down.

Does anyone know of that companies name - url?

Am not talking about Prosper where people loan moneys ...though it would be great to start one where people invest in equity...

The site was mostly for software developers but obviously could expand to other types of workers-providers-etc..

Also - as a customs broker, does your position have anything to do with getting Distilled Spirits into Canada?

and or know a lot of what it takes for import and exporting products ...

I heard of a website like this. It is a virtual world that people interact, and start businesses in this virtual world. The US Government is trying to find a way to tax this such site because they are trading like it is the real world. I have been looking for this site too. I heard they had more than 4 million members.

No the site I was referring to is not in a virtual world, it would be like I have an idea for software company, and i put the information on the site, a developer comes by and says I can do that and does it for say 5% of the product, then a webmaster comes along and creates the website say for 5% and someone comes in and sets up sales and marketing for 10% etc... Now they have a company - product - ready to go with no or minimal costs and these persons would share in the profits etc...

 Hello Milan,

all liquor imports are controlled by The LCBO in Ontario.

You would have to contact the Down town office in toronto

for permission to import spirits.

The only exemption is small amount for personal  use.
