Are you personally looking to hire a Virtual Assistant?
This isn`t my core business but I do teach entrepreneurs how to build a virtual team. So I can give you a couple of great resources from a 3rd party point of view.
If you want to post an RFP for a virtual assistant, go to www.assistu.com.
If you want a someone else to find a VA for you, go to www.teamdoubleclick.com.
Usually when I look for a VA, I start looking to my clients and associates for a referral.
I am a Virtual Assistant and owner of www.OfficeSupportNow.com.
I also offer mentoring for aspiring Virtual Assistants.
You may also want to utilize the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce`s resources in locating a qualified Virtual Assistant professional. Of interest:

Hey still searching - I am in a career transition (Corporate Restructure) into the Virtual Assistant world - I have a passion for research too. In my dreams I work side-by-side with a paralegal. and an private investigator.
I love digging in old records, most of which are in court houses, etc. I would also like to learn home/land title abstracting - but no one wants to mentor (let alone hire you) if you have no "real estate background". I have no desire to sell real estate, just do the research side of house. I have friends who work in real estate, but hate to do the research!
I know a few persons in law enforcment who are studying for their PI license. They know my work ethic and know that I have over 20 years worth of genealogical research skills in my background. They tell me, "I`d hire you in a minute"...they are within five years of retirement. I keep asking them, "can you retire now?" I desire some education...probably through my local community college. I see they have partnered with the Center for Legal Studies in Colorado.
Where did you get your education? Any other suggestions?
I am a virtual assistant as well. I operate Right-Hand-Man Virtual Assistant Services. We are a Multi-VA practice with myself and 4 (soon to be 5) Associate VAs.
We have the experience and skills to help anyone with any administrative tasks. We do, however, like to work with lawyers, real estate agents, and small business owners.
